must have an instrument in class. You will easily fall behind
if you are unprepared for class.

5 notes! We are singing and playing "sol", "fa",
"mi", "re", and "do".
- Try making
up your own 3 note song.
- You have
been given a 5-note fingering chart, plus a warm-up sheet. Bring
these to every class along with your Essential Elements
2000 Book 1 for your instrument.
- We have a
performance coming up on October 23. We need to get moving in
the book!
- You will
need to take your instrument home and practice at least 15-20
minutes every night. The amount of time will increase as you build
endurance. Practicing is homework!
